 What is the Master Digital Driven Business about? 

A 1 year full-time MSc programme 

The Master of Science in Digital Driven Business is a full-time, 1-year programme. It is designed to challenge students how to turn data and emerging digital technologies into actionable insights in order to generate business value. In the programme the students will acquire high-quality knowledge of data analytics and emerging digital technology, develop a 

critical-analytical and entrepreneurial attitude. This will stimulate a required action-oriented knowledge base and skill development to make effective decisions, both independently and as a team member to generate business. 


Multidisciplinary 

The programme is multidisciplinary as it builds on insights from both data / ICT and more marketing / business-related disciplines. Mirroring practice, the programme of the Master draws heavily upon agile learning methods in which students from different backgrounds work together in short-team projects. The course materials include those models, concepts, methods, developments, cases, software/tools, literature and theories most relevant for practice. In addition, specific attention will be paid to the knowledge, skills and expertise that are considered necessary to function in a rapidly changing, dynamic digital society, that is, the 21st century skills. 


4 Research programmes involved 

This Master is a collaboration of the Professors of Digital Commerce (Faculty of Business and Economics), Cross Media and Visual Methodologies (Faculty Digital Media and Creative Industry) and Urban Analytics (Faculty of Technique). 


Introduction Programme: start August 19, 2019 Wibaut Huis 

The Master will start with a 2 week mandatory Introduction Program for participating students 


Admission committee 

Candidates must have completed a Bachelor in economics, ICT or technics with a proven affinity for ict/data, technology or business. Affinity can be shown by means of a minor programme in another domain. (i.e. a minor Entrepreneurship or Marketing for non Marketeers for student s with a digital/data/technology background. And for economic students the minor Digital Analytics). As the Master is in English, a level of IELTS 6,5 or equivalent is required. Prior to the start of the Introduction Program all students will be interviewed by the Admission Committee. 


Voorlichtingsbijeenkomsten
Op 12 februari, 5 maart en 11 april worden tussen 1500-1600 u algemene voorlichtingsbijeenkomsten georganiseerd.
